Textgram Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-29

This policy explains what happens to data when you use Textgram – Mermaid & PlantUML Diagrams with AI ("the app"), a Confluence Cloud app provided by Jorge Carreras, trading as Falker ("we", "us"), Spain.

Summary

Data the app handles

Diagram code. The Mermaid or PlantUML text you write is saved by Confluence as part of the page, like any other page content. It is subject to your Confluence permissions, backups, retention and data residency settings. We cannot access it.

Rendering. Diagrams are drawn in your browser, inside Confluence. Diagram code is not sent to any rendering service.

AI generation (optional). Only when a user clicks Generate, the app sends the user's description and, if "Change the current diagram" is selected, the current diagram code to a large language model hosted by Atlassian through Forge LLMs. The result is returned to the editor; nothing is saved until the user clicks Save. We do not store prompts or responses. Atlassian's processing of this data is governed by Atlassian's terms and privacy policy.

Operational logs. If an AI request fails, the app records the type of error (for example, a timeout) in Atlassian's Forge logs so we can fix problems. These logs do not contain diagram code, prompts or user identifiers.

License information. Atlassian tells the app whether your site has an active license so the app can enable or disable editing. We do not receive payment details.

Data we do not collect

The app does not read Confluence users, spaces or pages beyond the diagram it is showing, does not use cookies or analytics, and does not track usage.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal data about you, requests to access or delete data are usually handled in Confluence itself: deleting a diagram or page deletes its code. For questions about Atlassian's processing, see Atlassian's privacy policy at https://www.atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Processor role and international transfers

For AI requests we act as a data processor (CCPA: service provider) on behalf of the customer, under our Data Processing Addendum at https://textgram.app/dpa.html. Atlassian is our only sub-processor. AI requests may be processed outside the European Economic Area, depending on where Atlassian runs Forge LLMs; such transfers rely on Atlassian's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Security

Security vulnerabilities can be reported to [email protected]. We follow Atlassian's security requirements for Marketplace apps.

Changes

We will update this page and its effective date when the app's data handling changes, for example when adding a feature that processes new data.
